The Little Falls No Tap Tournament takes place at the Little Falls Bowling Center in central Minnesota. The Tournament has been in existence since 1978. It currently draws approximately 4,000 bowlers per year and with the payout of over $65,000 in prize money.
The No Tap tournament is the largest of its kind in the state of Minnesota and we believe to be the largest in the Midwest. The majority of the bowlers reside in Minnesota but many come from the surrounding states. There have been bowlers from as far away as New York, Texas, Washington and also Canada.
The difference between regular bowling and no tap bowling is nine pins down on the first ball is scored as a strike. This makes the tournament competitive for the average bowler many families enjoy spending the weekend here in Little Falls.
The bowling center is owned by Mary Herold and Al Vaverek.
